Telangiectasias are abnormally dilated blood vessels associated with a number of diseases. They may develop anywhere within the body but can be easily seen in the skin. Facial telangiectasias are associated with age, sun exposure or alcohol use. There are multiple laser treatments for telangiectasias. We use the Palomar Starlux Laser system. Multiple treatments may be necessary to optimize the results.

Veins on the face are treated with a series of IPL (Intense Pulse Light) Photofacials, which disperse the veins back into the skin. Veins on the legs are treated with the 1064 Palomar Starlux.
